Following Up the Implementation of Records Management System in State Council
NRAA represented by follow-up and technical support Department followed up the of records management system in the State Council. The technical follow-up process is applied within the annual plan targeting a number of bodies subjected to the records and archives law. This visit aims at ensuring the implementation of special and house-keeping records management system in accordance with the procedures and rules of records management system.
The technical follow-up teamwork of the Council contains Hamad Ali Al-Saadi, Director Assistant for Technical follow-up Affairs, and Yunis Muslim Al-Jasasi, Records Specialist. During the visit, the teamwork focused on a number of basic standards of applying the system like using files and folders approved by NRAA and opening files according to approved topics in the system along with assigning the proper classification codes for each subject, and writing metadata for each file in addition to the file components. The teamwork also focused on the work of post system, intermediate records management and preparing repositories for intermediate records per NRAA’s approved technical specifications .
